We’re looking for a hands-on System Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology team. You’ll work at the crossroads of IT support, automation, and cloud infrastructure. Your role is to make things happen behind the scenes - maintain systems working smoothly, and users supported, and keep processes, e.g. hardware ordering for employees, access requests, running efficiently.
What your job looks like
Manage and optimize the entra ID and intune setup
Maintain secure environments through conditional access, Microsoft Defender settings, and PIM (Privileged Identity Management).
Automate tasks as much as possible to allow for scaling of the environment without extra manual workload.
Write clear documentation and how-to guides for internal personnel.
Help administrate and maintain the configuration management database, and create integrations towards other systems.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes (hardware, software, access), and make sure to automate the process as much as possible.
Manage IT hardware ordering process
Manage the granting, removal and maintenance of access rights
Assist employees with the configuration of the applications supported by the company
Job requirements
A master’s degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated (5+ years) ability in an IT support role or similar experience
Strong IT support background
Solid scripting skills, and experience in managing the office
Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code
Comfortable with both technical and administrative tasks
Experience with managing office wifi setups and firewalls.
You speak and write fluently English and full proficient of French or Dutch
Tools You have a strong background in:
Azure, O365, Microsoft defender for cloud, EntraID
Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python
Jira, Confluence, Assets (CMDB)
