We are itsme®, one of Europe’s fastest-growing scale-ups, counting 150 team members and growing. Our mission: providing a state-of-the-art digital identity solution to all people, enabling them to interact securely in the digital space. Now, only five years after being founded, close to 8 million citizens use the itsme® app, to identify themselves and sign documents online. Starting in Belgium, we successfully launched the itsme app in 17 European countries, with the ambition of becoming an internationally leading player.
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Product Marketing Manager to lead and elevate our product marketing efforts for one of itsme's product lines . Based in Belgium, you will be embedded within our product organisation, working closely with product managers and product owners to deeply understand the technical depth behind our solutions, while partnering closely with itsme's central marketing team to ensure aligned positioning across the broader portfolio. This role will be crucial in driving go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and commercial execution for your product line, and vital to its successful growth within itsme.
What your job looks like
Go-to-market strategy
• Work hand-in-hand with product management, as an embedded member of the product organisation, to address market challenges, conduct win/loss analysis, and analyse the competitive landscape for your product line.
• Develop compelling sales tools, training materials, and customer-facing collateral for your product line.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure cohesive strategies and execution, and align your product line's go-to-market approach with itsme's wider product strategy.
Product positioning and messaging
• Craft clear and compelling product positioning and messaging for your product line that resonates with target audiences and drives market demand, even when the underlying technology is highly complex.
• Develop and maintain positioning and messaging frameworks that enable other teams, such as Jobs-To-Be-Done, Personas, Ideal Customer Profiles and message maps.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape relevant to your product line to inform product messaging and positioning.
• Create and manage a consistent and effective product story across all marketing channels and touchpoints, in coordination with itsme's central marketing team.
Demand generation and growth
• Partner with the demand generation team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth for your product line.
• Track and analyse key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and optimise strategies for continuous improvement.
• Support regional marketing teams with tailored strategies and materials to drive local market success.
Customer advocacy and engagement
• Work closely with sales and marketing team to gather insights, testimonials, and case studies that highlight the value and impact of your product line.
• Develop and execute customer engagement programs that enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.
Job requirements
• 5+ years' experience ]in product marketing or a related role, ideally in complex, technical B2B or enterprise environments; with a proven ability to understand, simplify, and communicate sophisticated technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (fintech, financial services, cybersecurity, or critical digital infrastructure) is a strong plus.
• Affinity with cybersecurity concepts (such as PKI, PQC), authentication, and regulatory frameworks relevant to digital trust (such as PSD2/PSD3, eIDAS, DORA, NIS2) is a plus. An affinity digital identity and SaaS more broadly is also welcome.
• Experience in working with international teams with effective cross-cultural communications.
• Fluent Dutch or French, with full proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated experience in partnering with product management and design teams to develop and deliver effective sales engagement content and programs.
• Ability to work independently, with strong decision-making and communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in developing strong working relationships and influencing key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
