We are itsme®, one of Europe’s fastest-growing scale-ups, counting 85 team members and growing. Our mission: providing a state-of-the-art digital identity solution to all people, enabling them to interact securely in the digital space. Now, only seven years after being founded, 7 million citizens use the itsme® app to identify themselves and sign documents online. Starting in Belgium, we successfully launched the itsme® app in 17 European countries, with the ambition to become an internationally leading player.

We are looking for a Product Manager whose mission will be to manage the life cycle and determine the product strategy of their product line(s). You will play a connecting role between Revenue, Marketing, and Operations as a key point of contact for product strategy, technical product requirements, and customer expectations. You will also drive the go-to-market strategy in close collaboration with the marketing and revenue teams, ensuring alignment between product capabilities, market needs, and promotional efforts. As part of this, you will help define the pricing logic and packaging to support market positioning and revenue goals.

What your job looks like

  • Identify market needs

  • Own vision, roadmap, and program backlog within your product domain(s)

  • Work closely with internal technology, operations teams, and external partners to define milestones and ensure one-time and in-scope delivery

  • Support the Agile Software Development process, working in conjunction with end users/stakeholders and technical delivery teams

  • Research and analyze data and information about market developments, customer needs, and product performance

  • Work with the Chief Product Officer to create and fine-tune product roadmap(s)

  • Represent the ‘end-user’ and ensure their needs are top of mind throughout the development

  • Emphasize business contribution for each project/program to justify prioritization and resource allocation

  • Test new functionality, provide feedback, and prioritize issues

  • Track product performance against goals

Job requirements

  • A master’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated (5+ years) ability in a product/program management role or similar management consulting experience

  • You master the Scrum and Kanban methodology, and you understand the importance of DevOps as a key enabler.

  • Experience with environments where security and data privacy are of utmost importance.

  • A strong and convincing communicator, you know how to deal with a multitude of stakeholders on different hierarchical levels both in and outside itsme®.

  • You take ownership of your projects and can act as a go-to-person

  • You have an open and flexible mindset; you are able to easily adapt to changing contexts

  • You are able to think strategically and maintain a helicopter view

  • You are a team player who shares his/her knowledge and enjoys celebrating joint achievements

  • You are service and client-oriented

  • You speak and write fluently English and have a good knowledge of French or Dutch
