We are itsme®, one of Europe’s fastest-growing scale-ups, counting 90 team members and growing. Our mission: providing a state-of-the-art digital identity solution to all people, enabling them to interact securely in the digital space. Now, only five years after being founded, close to 8 million citizens use the itsme® app, to identify themselves and sign documents online. Starting in Belgium, we successfully launched the itsme app in 17 European countries, with the ambition of becoming an internationally leading player.

As Partnership Manager Netherlands, you play a key role in expanding the itsme® ecosystem by developing commercially valuable partnerships with key players in the Dutch market. You work closely with system integrators, technology platforms, identity providers, banks, digital trust networks, e-commerce platforms and sector-specific partners to generate new business and enable scalable go-to-market growth.

This role combines partnership development with clear commercial responsibilities. You build strategic alliances and convert them into revenue-generating opportunities in collaboration with partners and the itsme® sales team.

In this position, you won’t just sell, you will act as a trusted advisor and consultative partner, guiding organisations through the complexities of digital identity, compliance, and security. By positioning yourself as an authority in the identity space, you will help clients understand the strategic value of itsme® and translate their challenges into concrete solutions.

You will be at the frontline of itsme® in the Netherlands, working closely with the Country Manager, and collaborating with colleagues in product, marketing, and technical teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs and accelerate adoption.

What your job looks like

  • Develop and execute a partnership strategy for the Dutch market focused on commercial impact and market expansion

  • Identify, onboard and manage strategic partners such as system integrators, identity & trust providers, payment players, security platforms and consulting firms

  • Build joint value propositions and partnership programs to accelerate adoption of itsme®

  • Drive partner-sourced revenue by unlocking co-selling opportunities and new deal flow

  • Negotiate partnership agreements, including commercial terms, incentives, revenue models and performance targets

  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, legal, compliance and sales for successful partner enablement

  • Use market insights (eIDAS 2.0, NL Wallet, Wwft, KYC/AML, PSD2) to develop relevant go-to-market strategies per sector

  • Represent itsme® externally at partner events and in ecosystem collaborations

  • Maintain a strong focus on measurable impact, pipeline creation and quarterly targets

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in partnership management, business development or channel sales

  • Experience working with system integrators and technology alliances

  • Background in technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech, digital identity or trust services

  • Strong commercial mindset with demonstrable success driving partner revenue

  • Excellent stakeholder management; comfortable dealing with C-level and partner leadership

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Strategic thinker who also drives execution

  • Entrepreneurial and self-starting mindset

  • Fluent in Dutch and English

  • Experience with ecosystem development in one of these sectors: Finance, Insurance, Telecom, E-commerce, Public Sector, Security/Identity

  • Preferably has knowledge of identity & trust frameworks (eIDAS, IAM, PSD2, CIAM, BNPL, QES, KYB/KYC)
