We are itsme®, one of Europe’s fastest-growing scale-ups, counting 75 team members and growing. Our mission: providing a state-of-the-art digital identity solution to all people, enabling them to interact securely in the digital space. Now, only five years after being founded, close to 7 million citizens use the itsme® app, to identify themselves and sign documents online. Starting in Belgium, we successfully launched in The Netherlands and Luxembourg, with the ambition to become an internationally leading player.


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales Operations to spearhead our commercial efforts in the Dutch market. As our key representative in the region, you will not only be responsible for driving our sales strategy and execution, but you will also serve as the face of our brand locally. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with internal teams to develop and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies, build strong relationships with clients, and drive revenue growth. Additionally, you will function as the local leader, fostering company culture and maintaining strong leadership visibility within our Netherlands-based teams.


What your job looks like

  • Lead Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow itsme’s presence and customer base in the Dutch market.
  • GTM Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and refine go-to-market motions, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive long-term growth.
  • Team Leadership: Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing local sales team to deliver results in alignment with company objectives.
  • Revenue Accountability: Take ownership of sales targets, forecast and monitor sales performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent itsme® as the face of our brand in the Dutch market, engaging in public speaking, industry events, and media opportunities to promote our vision and solutions.
  • Local Leadership: Foster a strong, collaborative culture within the local office by acting as a role model and providing leadership presence to inspire and engage other teams.
  • Market Insights: Provide feedback and insights on local market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to drive innovation and product-market fit.

Job requirements

  • Proven Experience: 7+ years of experience in Head of Sales Operations roles, with a successful track record of achieving targets and driving growth in the B2B tech space (experience in identity, cybersecurity, or digital transformation is a plus).
  • Market Expertise: In-depth understanding of the Dutch market, with established networks and a passion for helping businesses adopt digital identity solutions.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, foster collaboration, and inspire others towards achieving common goals.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically, while also executing tactically to drive results and achieve revenue goals.
  • Excellent Communication: Fluent in Dutch and English, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions to C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to evolving business priorities.
