In this integrated position, you will serve as the manager of team leads involved in our Delivery Process, covering Product Ownership, Functional Analysis, Development and Quality Assurance. You while also take the responsibility of managing the delivery of the itsme® roadmap. You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring the team's continuous development, and driving excellence in project delivery.
As Head of Delivery, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of projects within itsme®. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will also play a crucial role in resource allocation, risk management, and client/stakeholder communication. Together with the CIO, you will continuously optimise the itsme® roadmap definition and execution.
As a Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of skilled team leads. You will collaborate closely with different cross-functional teams to align strategies and achieve organisational objectives.
What your job looks like
Head of Delivery
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate with project teams to define scope, goals, and deliverables.
Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, milestones, and any changes to the project plan.
Address and resolve issues raised by stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
Interact with stakeholders to map business requirements into functional solutions that optimally balance cost, speed of implementation, and value.
You act as a bridge between product owners, development teams, and technical experts, ensuring alignment between architecture and product delivery.
Conduct post-project reviews to analyse project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Team lead
Lead and mentor your team leads covering Product Ownership, Functional Analysis, Development and Quality Assurance activities.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
Collaborate with your peers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.
Provide guidance and support to team members.
Foster an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and skill development.
Job requirements
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in leadership roles within delivery or program team leadership.
Experience as a Release train engineer
Having extensive experience in people management, from managing 2 FTE’s to large indirect delivery teams.
Industry background in Banking, FinTech or a complex security product environment
Complete professional proficiency in English and fluency in either native Dutch or French.
Proven track record of successfully leading Agile project teams throughout the entire product lifecycle, from project initiation to completion.
Extensive background as a Head of Delivery or Program in varied settings and across diverse sectors, showcasing adaptability and a rich experience in various delivery frameworks.
Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on establishing enduring relationships with C-level stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to oversee cross-functional teams operating across different product lines.
Holder of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification is a big plus
Proficient in implementing agile frameworks such as Scrum, with the ability to articulate the rationale for choosing specific approaches based on situational needs.
Having experience in managing different product roadmaps from concept to delivery.
Background in collaborating on technical projects and leading teams, with the capability to communicate technical requirements clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong business acumen and a proven aptitude for creating precise and high-quality documentation.
Experience in coaching and mentoring individual team members to optimise their performance.
Dedication to transparency and openness, actively identifying and communicating risks, issues, and dependencies, and taking appropriate actions, including escalation and mitigation strategies as necessary.
