We are itsme®, one of Europe’s fastest-growing scale-ups, counting 85 team members and growing. Our mission: providing a state-of-the-art digital identity solution to all people, enabling them to interact securely in the digital space. Now, only five years after being founded, close to 7 million citizens use the itsme® app, to identify themselves and sign documents online. Starting in Belgium, we successfully launched in the Netherlands and Luxembourg, with the ambition to become an internationally leading player.

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to manage and nurture an existing portfolio of clients, focusing on growing engagement, expanding use cases, and driving revenue growth. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of a wider, cross-functional team, collaborating with sales, product, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies that meet client needs and exceed growth targets.

As the key liaison between Itsme and your clients, you will strengthen relationships, identify opportunities to introduce new solutions and ensure customers are maximising the value of our services. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to mobilise internal teams around a shared vision of client success.

What your job looks like

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers within your portfolio of customers.

  • Increase Usage and Volume: Work with customers to expand their engagement with Itsme’s services by identifying opportunities for new use cases and increasing adoption across their business operations.

  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Itsme products and services.

  • Customer Success: Ensure customers are realising maximum value from their current solutions by providing ongoing support, guidance, and strategic insights.

  • Solution Development: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and propose customised solutions that align with their goals, driving the adoption of new services.

  • Cross-functional leadership: Act as the cornerstone of a cross-functional team, leading collaboration between sales, product, marketing, and technical teams to drive results. You will coordinate resources and efforts from these teams to deliver exceptional service and outcomes for customers.

  • Contract Renewals & Negotiations: Lead the renewal process for existing contracts, ensuring continued partnerships and exploring opportunities for growth in value.

  • Market & Industry Insight: Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital identity, security, and customer needs to identify innovative ways to address evolving challenges.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet customer requirements and support product development initiatives based on customer feedback.

Job requirements

  • Language proficiency: Full proficiency in French, Dutch and English or Mother tongue French and full proficiency in English.

  • Experience: Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role, ideally in digital identity, SaaS, or technology industries.

  • Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive customer success and achieve results.

  • Results-driven: Track record of successfully growing accounts, increasing usage, and driving revenue growth.

  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand customer business models and identify how Itsme's solutions can drive further success.

  • Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to present creative solutions and strategies to clients.

  • Team Leadership: Leadership skills to rally internal teams around a shared vision for customer success.

  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to handle contract renewals and lead negotiation processes effectively.
