We are itsme®, one of Europe’s fastest-growing scale-ups, with 115 team members and growing. Our mission: providing a state-of-the-art digital identity solution to all people, enabling them to interact securely in the digital space. Now, only five years after being founded, close to 8 million citizens use the itsme® app to identify themselves and sign documents online. Starting in Belgium, we successfully launched the itsme app in 17 European countries, with the ambition of becoming an internationally leading player.

As Sales Executive Enterprise Netherlands, you are fully accountable for new enterprise logo acquisition and expansion of key accounts in the Dutch market. Your focus is on large organisations across priority verticals such as finance, insurance, telecom, utilities, e-commerce and regulated services. You operate at the intersection of outbound sales, strategic account management and GTM execution. You build senior-level relationships, drive complex enterprise sales cycles, and translate regulatory and identity challenges into concrete commercial opportunities. You are not just closing deals, you are shaping how itsme® is positioned and adopted in the Dutch enterprise landscape.

What your job looks like

  • Outbound Enterprise Sales

    • Proactively identify, target and acquire large enterprise customers through structured outbound sales

      Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, negotiation and closing

      Engage with C-level, digital, security, compliance and product stakeholders at the enterprise level

      Build and maintain a strong enterprise pipeline aligned with quarterly and annual targets

  • Account Management & Growth

    • Act as primary commercial owner for a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts

    • Drive account expansion through upsell, cross-sell and increased use-case adoption

    • Ensure long-term customer value by aligning commercial agreements with roadmap and GTM priorities

    • Coordinate internal teams to deliver on customer commitments and growth plans

  • Go-to-Market & Collaboration

    • Work closely with marketing on outbound campaigns, ABM initiatives and vertical messaging

    • Collaborate with Country Manager to refine sector-specific value propositions

    • Align with product and UX teams to translate enterprise requirements into scalable solutions

    • Provide continuous market feedback to improve positioning, pricing and offering structure

  • Market & Thought Leadership

    • Position yourself as a trusted advisor on digital identity, compliance and security

    • Leverage market developments (eIDAS 2.0, NL Wallet, Wwft, KYC/AML, PSD2/3) in commercial conversations

    • Represent itsme® in enterprise-level discussions, events and ecosystem initiatives

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in enterprise outbound sales and strategic account management

  • Strong track record selling complex B2B solutions to large organizations

  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, cybersecurity, digital identity, trust or regulated environments

  • Comfortable managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

  • Commercially sharp with strong negotiation and closing skills

  • Able to balance hunter mentality with long-term account ownership

  • Structured, data-driven and GTM-oriented way of working

  • Full proficiency in Dutch and English

  • Nice to have

    • Experience in one or more verticals: Finance, Insurance, Telecom, E-commerce, Utilities, Public Sector

    • Familiarity with identity & trust frameworks (eIDAS, IAM, CIAM, KYC/KYB, QES, BNPL)

    • Experience working closely with marketing on outbound or ABM motions
